Teaching and Learning Theories and Application

In this workshop participants learn theoretical knowledge about learning and teaching theories and methodologies. They will be able to understand the different usages and concepts of theories in addition to ways of applying methodologies inside their classrooms and learning spaces. This workshop is an introductory step for teachers, facilitators, trainers, curriculum developers and educators.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

·       Understand the difference between a theory and methodology

·       Define given theories and their applications

·       Get exposed to applications inside classrooms and learning spaces Understand the difference between pedagogy and andragogy

·       Acquire research skills in learning how to learn
